VIRTUAL REALITY

VIRTUAL REALITY

  •  What is virtual reality ?

A realistic environment or world created using interactive software and hardware, and experienced or controlled by movement of the body is said to be virtual reality.

  • HISTORY OF VIRTUAL REALITY:

Cinematographer Morton Heilig created Sensorama, the first VR machine (patented in 1962). It was a large booth that could fit up to four people at a time.

  • THE APPLICATION OF VIRTUAL REALITY :
  1. travel and explore around the world without leaving our room .
  2. We can play  games with the help of virtual reality.
  3. We can create our own virtual world which can be explored by other peoples
  4. We can use virtual reality for education purpose such as : Exploring the human body,Exploring the nature , depths of oceans and the vastness of space , etc.

• Virtual reality in architecture:

Architecture can be greatly influenced by virtual reality.Architects can now see their ideas and blue prints in small scale 3d before they are constructed in large scale. Also, these buildings could be natural disaster tested before actually being built.

• Virtual reality in art:

Art is influenced by virtual reality because virtual reality would be a completely new genre to the art community.also, virtual reality is limitless to creative thinkers.

• Virtual reality in military:

With soldiers having virtual reality, they can now train their combat skills with computer animated people. This will decrease the amount of injuries soldiers have and can easily help to increase their skills.

• Virtual reality in health care/surgery:

With the difficult and dangerous job of many surgeons, virtual reality would decrease the amount of accidents during surgery. Also, surgeons would be able to practice on  virtual patients , so they could have more practice and get more knowledge.

• Virtual reality in education and research:

Education or studies can be easy with the help of virtual reality because it is effective, intersting, entertaining way of learning. We learners can explore and research on our topic by the help of virtual reality.

• Disadvantages of virtual reality:
♣ The cost of a good quality virtual reality     device may be not affordable for normal   people due to which all peoples may not be   able to experience it.

♣ people will get addicted to virtual reality  which is going to get people disconnected from real world.

♣More use of virtual reality may cause damage to our real body.

Pros and cons of online education

FIRSTLY, WHAT IS ONLINE EDUCATION?

: online Education is a course conducted over the Internet. They are generally conducted through a learning management system, in which students can view their course syllabus and academic progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course instructor. It has been very helpful in 2020AD because it has made us able to continue our courses, even in such a pandemic.I am very thankful to all those platfroms that has made us able to take online classes.online education has many advantages and disadvantages also.
THE ADVANTAGES OF ONLINE EDUCATION ARE:

1)online education enables both the teachers and students to get into teaching-learning activities from anywhere at any time.

2) Online education provides better understanding of courses using different effective and interactive tools for presentation of specific topic and group discussion or communication.

3)Online education tends to improve virtual communication and collaboration among the teachers and students to replace the real (face-to-face) interaction till the situation becomes normal.

4)Online education helps the teachers to deal with weak and less-attentive students as they can check out the activities of every students who are online.

THE DISADVANTAGES OF ONLINE EDUCATION ARE:

1)The biggest problem of online education is limitation of technology. Many students are deprived of education as they don't have reach to e-gadgets or technology.

2)Students and teachers both are likely to face internet connectivity issue which can affect the teaching-learning activities.

3)In some cases, students tell internet connectivity issue as the reason of bunking classes even when it is not true.

4)The students can even chat privately in the online class without being known by the teacher. So, respective teacher must pay attention to that.

5)The academic performance of students may not be that much reliable which they used to have in school as cheating prevention is totally impossible during online assessments(test).

At last I want to say that e-learning/online Education has been a great gift by the modern technology/internet but it has some limitations which has been a big issue.

Thank you . Hope you got some information through my blog.

My experience for tour

Travelling is different for everyone. Some people travel for work, for family, for tourism, for adventure, for culture, and beyond these all as well. Travelling provides us with new experiences and perspectives. We are able to see the world in a different way and learn about new things as well as about ourselves. During our travels, we see new things that we have never experienced in our daily life before.

By travelling, we can make new friends, and, most importantly, we can understand how tiny we are. In short, travelling is not just only a mean to go sightseeing in a new place; it is a deep interaction between one’s self and culture.Travelling helps us jump from our original world to a world we cannot see from our computer at home. Depending on how much we immerse ourselves, we will discover different things.

It has been a culture as our school always organizes an educational tour of 4 nights and 5 days for the students of Grade IX. We all students were really excited for this tour since last year. And finally, we had 4 nights and 5 days educational tour from 2076/09/19 to 2076/09/23. During this time, we visited 4 different places i.e. Chitwan, Ghandruk, Pokhara and Bandipur. We were altogether 30 students ready for this tour. Our 4 honorable teachers: Murari Sir, Deepak Sir, Bijay Sir and Sabina Mam went with us in this educational tour.

I swear, it was the most incredible tour that I had ever experienced. We even didn't want to get home back. Still I think about those 5 remarkable days and smile for a moment without any reason. I can even feel like I am addicted towards travel. I am really really grateful to all of the respectful teachers, my beloved parents and school administrative. Moreover, it is the time when the Visit Nepal 2020 just started. We are the most luckiest batch to experience such an exciting and wonderful educational tour.

At home, I shared my all experiences with my family members. I won't forget this most memorable tour throughout my life.

Throughout the life I had till now, I never experienced such a recreational; beautiful; mesmerizing and remarkable educational tour. I personally want to thank all the teachers and school administrative who gave this wonderful opportunity for taking us; grade IX to these naturally beautiful places. I don't know whether I will get this opportunity again in future days.

Moreover, I want to share the lesson that I got from this tour. I learned that it is better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times. The next thing I learned is live with no excuses, travel with no regrets. I am saddened for my other friends who could not join us in this such an remarkable tour. I too hope they will once enjoy this experience in upcoming days. Thanks to my Mom and Dad for sending me to these sophisticated and remarkable places.
